Susie Knows the Portland Greek Festival

Starting today: The quintessential Portland tradition that is the Greek Festival! Located at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on NE 32nd & Glisan, this festival- now in its 67th year – marks a great way to try a huge variety of tasty Greek food while taking in the sights of Greek folk dancing, cooking demonstrations and craft tables. The à la carte highlights include roasted lamb, gyros, hummus, spanikopita and diples (butter and egg pastry deep-fried and dipped in honey + sprinkled with spices and nuts). Or try it all with a combo plate (meat + veg options available). There will also be face painting and games at the children’s corner. See you there!
